NFYC – Summer Breeze

Niua Fo’ou Youth Congress (NFYC) is the furthest office away from Tonga National Youth Congress and every time they contact the main office everyone is paying attention to the news of the youth from the two Niua.  This month with the Niuafo’ou youth office the sport season has begun with volleyball, netball and soccer. “When ever summer comes we work together with communities leaders as well as our youth in developing a sport even for all ages and gender” said NFYC officer ’Aminiasi Pongi the president of the committee “in this even we need  to show the sports talents of the youth in our island.

The sporting event of the NFYC is the highlight of each year sports event for Niua Fo’ou. It is also a time that the communities work together  in preparation of their team.

“We always look forward to this time of the year it is a time full of excitement and laughter  of good sportsmanship and good comraderies spirit.
