Go Green Vava’u
Tonga National Youth Congress Director, Civil Society Forum of Tonga Director and chairman for the Tonga National Leadership Forum Mr. Drew Havea have done a 1 day work shop with the Governor Office in Vava’u also Town Officer and District Officer discussion Vava’u development plan
that will reflect on the needs and concern raised from the people of Vava’u. TNYC focus on discussion of communities and villages organic certification and dialogue and setting up of a Participatory Guaranteed system whereby communities can actively participate in setting up and assess according to local farmer‟s and customer agreement.
This will boost local involvement to start forming up a lively environment in the communities for small business and trading. CSFT also talk on setting up
of Special Management area and alternative livelihood for communities. This workshop was funded by the Pacific Leadership Forum
